def.i.ni.ción's Next Top Model...

Hey everyone.

This is just an update from your friends at def.i.ni.ción. We’ve been busy getting the word out on our current lineup of shirts and partners. Our most recent shirt is our say-ree paap shirt, which is Thai for “freedom”. This shirt is helping to raise money and awareness for NightLight, an organization working in Bangkok, Thailand to get children and women out of the sex-slave trade there. They are modern-day abolitionists.

Shifting gears now…I am going to try a little experiment and hold a def.i.ni.ción’s Next Top Model contest. As it stands right now, I’m using mannequins as my shirt models and they’re just no fun. They don’t complain which is nice but that’s just about it. I need a little personality so here’s where you come in…

Send pics of you rocking a def.i.ni.ción shirt to talk@mydefinicion.com. If you want to include contact info about yourself like a myspace page, personal website, then let me know and I’ll include that in the pic as well. To make it even more interesting, include an interesting word that you like or defines you.

Now let’s not have any x-rated pics but let’s not have the boring driver’s license photos either. Be sure to take a front and back picture.

The winners will get a free tshirt and be known as our model definistos and definistas.

Remember, this is just an experiment so I’m not sure if it will happen or not. If it does go down, I’ll let you know.

I just wanted to make a quick announcement about a new shirt that is supporting, SAFEHS, Students and Artists Fighting to End Human Slavery. Check them out at www.safehs.com.

This is our new "freedom" shirt.

You can order this shirt here. 10% of your purchase will go back to help SAFEHS as they continue to raise awareness about modern-day slavery/human trafficking.

Just a quick question for you:

What is "freedom" translated into another language other than English?

If you know it, please let me know as I am working on a shirt for a "Freedom Walk". If you're in the Bay Area mid-November, you can participate in the walk.

The shirt for the walk should be out very soon but before I finalize the design, I want to get more "freedom" on the shirt so send your translations over to me.

Hello everyone.

My "other" life has been keeping me busy but I plan to get back on track with all def.i.ni.ción related stuff within a week or two. In the meantime, please check out Students & Artists Fighting to End Human Slavery at www.safehs.com.

If you are in the Bay Area, on November 17, SAFEHS will be having a Freedom Run to raise awareness about human trafficking. def.i.ni.ción will be partnering with SAFEHS by designing a shirt for the Run. The shirt should be out in 2-3 weeks so be on the lookout for it.

def.i.ni.ción is still working on a shirt for Nightlight. Check them out at www.nightlightbangkok.com. Help give girls and women caught up in the sex/slave trade experience a second chance and freedom.

I'm thinking about making some bracelets for definicion. They would be like the yellow LIVESTRONG bracelets except mine would say "define your life" on it. Anyway, what would be a cool color for said bracelets?

Also, shirts are on sale for $15 and if you wanna design a shirt, let me know. I'm leaving it open for about two more weeks.

I would like to get two new shirts out by the end of the summer but I need fresh designs to make it happen. One shirt will be for Habitat for Humanity and the other will possibly be in Thai, for an organization called Nightlight which helps women and children get off the streets in Bangkok, Thailand.
